View My WorkLet me tell you a little about myself and what I do.
As a QA Engineer at my company, I've learned and worked extensively with modern languages and technologies like JavaScript, Postman, Cypress.io, and SQL . I work with my feature team to introduce new features and maintain utilities on web applications with millions of users that process hundreds of thousands of transactions annually.
I also have work experience in education and customer service where I fostered soft skills like written and verbal communication, collaboration, leadership, and adaptability.
I specialize in full-stack web development and software testing using languages and technologies like HTML5, CSS3, SASS, SQL and JS - along with the most popular libraries and frameworks for these languages. As a tester, I'm familiar with automated testing using Selenium Java and Cypress.io and centralized project management systems like Jira, GitLabs, and Azure DevOps.
I've recently started my foray into game development using the Unity Engine (Check out my first platformer, Frogman Adventures, below!). I ultimately would love to switch from SaaS QA to QA in a game studio environment with the goal of eventually becoming a full-time indie game developer.
Creating and testing beautiful web applications and games with modern technologies.
My knowledge of modern, widely-used technologies such as Git Version Control, Java, MySQL, JavaScript, Python, and SASS allow me to use relevant technologies to produce extraordinary, scalable, modular code. Some examples of this can be found on my work page!
I have a strong background in manual and automated QA testing. My knowledge of automated test scripting with Selenium and Cypress, centralized PM systems such as Jira, and the Agile software development cycle allow me to function as a great tester - and also as a developer who values designing and creating programs of high quality.
I enjoy working with a headstrong team of engineers, testers, and project managers to solve difficult problems. When people come together in technology to tackle an issue and create a powerful product, we can change the course of history. I thrive on solving problems to create better products - a small but important puzzle piece in that mission.
As a political science graduate, I bring cross-disciplinary skills that I've gained from my tenure at the University of Florida including but not limited to strong verbal/written communication, conflict resolution, mediation, and ethical philosophy.
Here are some of the modern technologies I work with regularly.
